White House Once Again Alters Transcript to Cover for Failing Leaders

Yeah, it must be hard running the media arm of the Joe Biden White House. I mean, these people wanted the job, of course. But they probably didn’t realize what a crap show this presidency would end up being. How bad has it gotten? Biden’s press secretary, Jen Psaki, is fleeing for a crummy job on MSNBC’s streaming platform.

Why is that bad? Because all she had to do was answer softball questions from the liberal media (and ignore Peter Doocy). But it is apparently so terrible being Sleepy Joe’s spox, that Psaki is jumping ship for a worse job. Whoever has to take over her position won’t be long behind. Things continue to get worse for the White House. Because, for a second time in as many weeks, they have to alter a transcript to cover for Biden’s errors.

The White House is batting cleanup for President Joe Biden, tweaking the official transcript from the USS Delaware commissioning ceremony after his verbal slip inadvertently promoted First Lady Jill Biden from Dr. Ed. to former Vice President…

“And I’m deeply proud of the work she is doing as First Lady with Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when she was vice president and now carries on.”

Although the president apparently made no effort to correct himself at the time, the official White House transcript made a small edit to his comments:

“And I’m deeply proud of the work she is doing as First Lady with Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when she [I] was Vice President and now carries on.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Wow. I mean, how bad is this going to get? Not that long ago, the White House had to edit a speech by Kamala Harris, because she referred to Ukraine as a NATO ally. But this is worse. Joe Biden called his wife the “Vice President.” And the White House transcribers literally had to cross out “she” and put in “I,” in a last-ditch attempt to salvage the speech. Never mind that it doesn’t appear that was what Biden was trying to say.

From the original remarks, it appears Biden was calling his wife the vice president during Michelle Obama’s time as the first lady. Maybe he did mean to say “I.” Maybe not. But that is an obvious, unforced error that only serves to highlight Biden’s growing mental problems. If this was just a random gaffe, nobody would care. But this is just one of the thousands of times Biden confused what he was saying.

Biden has slurred his speech, mixed-up words, dates, and people, and even sounded completely incoherent at times. And that doesn’t even factor in how he always appears tired, annoyed, and confused when he gets up to speak.

At this point, nobody should be pretending like he isn’t ill. What we should be talking about now is, what are we going do to about it?

Because if Democrats don’t act now, while they have a chance, you better believe Republicans will post midterms.
