White House Backs Down as States Fight Back on Key Issue

After a year of lockdowns, mask mandates, closed churches, and ruined educations, the left had one more draconian rule meant to destroy our liberties. Donald Trump moved heaven and earth to secure, not one, but three viable vaccines for COVID-19. But the rollout under Joe Biden was pathetically slow and incompetently done. In many states, people still can’t get an appointment to be jabbed.

That being said, many Americans have already gotten vaccinated—and the numbers prove we are no longer in a “pandemic.”

All along, the idea of getting the COVID vaccine was voluntary. We’ve known for a year that only the elderly are at most risk. People under the age of 50 face virtually zero threat from the virus (outside of rare cases). And considering the scarcity of the vaccine, only those who really need it or want it should get it.

So, why are Democrats mulling the idea of a vaccine passport? This would be a document you’d have to show before attending events, purchasing goods, or even traveling. Requiring such a passport would violate an American’s privacy rights, not to mention split our society into two classes: the vaccinated and the unvaccinated.

You can see how this would erode our freedoms more than the destruction lockdowns did. Yet for a while, idiot Joe Biden was “mulling” a mandatory passport for the entire country. But after several conservative states officially banned such a practice, the White House is backing down.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Tuesday the Biden administration will not play a role in vaccine passport system, as more Republican governors and politicians have come out against the idea…

“There will be no federal vaccinations database and no federal mandate requiring everyone to obtain a single vaccination credential.” …

Psaki made the announcement the same day Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott issued a ban on government-mandated vaccine passports in his state. Republican Govs. Ron DeSantis, of Florida, and Tate Reeves, of Mississippi, have also opposed such programs. [Source: Just the News]

Florida, Mississippi, and Texas have banned vaccine passports, with other states sure to follow. But do you know who has demanded these passports? New York of all places. Unless you can prove you had the vaccine, New York businesses, events, and other establishments can deny you entry. That’s right, a state that is on the verge of collapse thanks to shuttered businesses will not be turning away untold millions of customers, because they couldn’t get a vaccine.

Imagine the cruelty and stupidity of this action. The vaccine is free, which means millions of people want it. There is still a limited supply of the stuff, so many people can’t even get an appointment. The government says everyone that wants one can get on by May/June. More likely, it won’t be until October until that is true. So, millions of Americans—who want the vaccine but can’t get it—could be denied basic services because of a bogus passport requirement.

Do you see the idiocy of this? Do you see how this is unconstitutional? State governments and private businesses want to violate your 4th Amendment rights, requiring you to divulge personal medical information, before you can attend a ball game, go to the movies, or even eat at a restaurant.

This COVID lunacy has gone much too far. And don’t be fooled. If it weren’t for Texas, Florida, and Mississippi, Biden would be all for it.
