Trump Announces Last-Minute Defense Shakeup

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich arrives on Wednesday to watch Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during the grand opening of the Trump International Hotel in the renovated Old Post Office Building in Washington, D.C.

Newt Gingrich, the long-time Speaker of the House in the 90s and huge Trump supporter. With years of experience in important topics and policies has been a vital supporter of Americans. And now it looks like he’s been called back to Washington yet again.

The Pentagon has had a lot of shakeups in recent weeks. And as Trump seems to be looking at the final days of his administration, Newt is stepping in to help. According to a breaking report, he will be a part of the Defense Policy Board.

Which usually consists of former national security officials. Who provide the Department Of Justice with third-party opinions on important issues national defense.

After years in Congress, Gingrich has a lot to offer America in his new position including a perspective on America’s national defense.

President Trump would need a veteran stateman like Newt on the Defense Policy Board. To provide alternative opinions, theories and ideas. But one has to question why Trump would shake things up in this way, if he was truly leaving the White House?

By the looks of it, Trump doesn’t seem like he is ready to give up. Sleepy Joe might have to wait till 2024 for his turn after all.
