Senate Stabs America in the Back, Sends Billions to Ukraine as Citizens Suffer

It’s quite obvious the United States is headed for a recession. Biden’s irresponsible economic policies have deliberately increased inflation, not to mention his energy policies crippling our oil and gas. We can’t even get baby formula, for crying out loud. And his open border is importing millions of illegals jeopardizing our national security and jobs market.

By all accounts, Joe Biden is putting Americans last. He seems far more concerned with paying off his international allies, including China, Iran, and beyond. War continues to rage in Ukraine, with nobody willing to put a clear stop to it. Instead, our government and many others are plundering their own people to prop up what could be theatrics.

And now, the Senate has betrayed struggling Americans by giving away another $40 billion.

The Senate on Thursday overwhelmingly approved a $40 billion military and economic aid for Ukraine and its allies…

The measure, which provides military and humanitarian aid, has already passed the Democrat-controlled House. Biden has asked for the additional money by Thursday because he’s effectively spent the billions Congress has already appropriated.

Such spending has largely had bipartisan support on Capitol Hill. However, 11 Republican senators earlier this week voted to oppose advancing the aid package over such issues as the cost, no plan to off-set the spending and what they consider European countries not paying their fair share. The Senate passed this House bill by 86-11. The only Republicans opposed to this reckless spending were Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky, Sens. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., John Boozman, R-Ark., Mike Braun, R-Ind., Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, Bill Hagerty, R-Tenn., Josh Hawley, R-Mo., Mike Lee, R-Utah, Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., Roger Marshall, R-Kan., and Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala.

These were the only Republicans in the Senate willing to refuse to send more money to Ukraine, to fund a war we have nothing to do with. A war that seems to be dragging on with no end in sight, with sanctions in place that are already crippling out country.

At the same time, Americans can’t even put gas in their cars or find baby formula. Yet we’re supposed to be okay with sending $40 billion of our own money to a foreign land?

Don’t be fooled by this bill. This is not an act of kindness for Ukraine. This money will go into the pockets of the military-industrial complex. All those corporations who make guns, bombs, and other implements of war. This is just more of our lawmakers’ payoffs to special interest groups and lobbyists within D.C.

Biden is draining America’s resources for a war that has no end. Which is consistent with his overall plan to destroy America’s prosperity and position in the world.

There is no clear proof that this money is going to turn the tide of the war. We’ve already pumped billions into this thing, and Putin continues to rampage. Sanctions have done nothing since Russia has strong ties to China. The only thing Biden has managed to do is make our country weaker and poorer.

Which seems to be his top goal.
