Rand Paul Exposes Fauci’s Connection To Wuhan

The media has fawned over Anthony Fauci, so-called expert on COVID-19, propping up whatever he says as gospel. It seems like, to many in our country, if you contradict the words of this shaman, you are a monster who wants people to die. Few even dare question Fauci, despite the many times he’s been wrong.

One of the few leaders willing to hold Fauci’s feet to the fire is Republican Sen. Rand Paul. Paul, who is a physician by trade, has never been on board Fauci’s many misinterpretations of facts, doom-and-gloom scenarios, or exaggerations. In the past, Fauci has confronted the man to his face, throwing back the many lies he’s spread.

Paul called out Fauci over his lies about masks. He demanded answers from Fauci on why he told people early on in the pandemic not to wear a mask. The senator has also questioned many of Fauci’s predictions about the virus, many of which were inaccurate. Just this week, Paul was at Fauci’s throat again, this time over his connection to the virus’s ground zero.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci on Tuesday regarding U.S. funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the Chinese lab that some believe is the origin of COVID-19…

“Dr. Fauci, do you still support funding of the NIH funding of the lab in Wuhan?” Paul asked Fauci.

“Senator Paul, with all due respect, you are entirely, entirely and completely incorrect,” Fauci replied. “The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

Paul then pointed to a $3.4 million grant that the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), the part of the NIH run by Fauci, gave to EcoHealth Alliance in 2014. [Source: Daily Wire]

As is becoming increasingly common with Fauci while he speaks before the Senate, the so-called expert dodged direction questions about his organization and the virus. He denied that the NIH funded the Wuhan lab, despite numerous evidence to the contrary.

It seems like Fauci expects our leaders to just bow before his massive “expertise” and the clout bestowed on him by the media. He wants to just show up, spout whatever nonsense he has this week, and then get praise. He doesn’t handle criticism well, especially from a senator who is not buying his garbage.

The fact remains Fauci’s organization gave large sums of money to a lab at the center of the pandemic. Evidence suggests the money was for “gain-of-function” research, meaning developing ways of making viruses more infectious and deadly.

If that is true, then Fauci could be directly responsible for the global pandemic. It’s not something he’s just going to admit, especially when testifying before Congress.

But Sen. Paul was not convinced by Fauci’s denials. The purpose of the Wuhan lab was to “beat” America in the area of viral research. Money given to this group would have gone to studies like “gain-of-function” and Fauci would have been aware of it. The senator continued to blast Fauci after the meeting.

Is it really likely that Fauci’s NIH was giving money to Wuhan, but did not know they were funding gain-of-function research? It seems highly unlikely that he did not know that his money was going to this kind of program. It’s what this lab was for. Yet Fauci continues to deny these facts.

I wonder when the truth is going to come spilling out?
