Press Secretary Publicly Humiliated After Report Exposes Incompetence

During the years of the Trump administration, the media was—let’s just say—less than friendly. Press briefings at the White House looked more like the start of a wrestling match than a legitimate briefing. The mainstream media was merciless, attacking the White House press secretary with the same hatred they had for Trump himself.

The painful reality is that this same group of “reporters” have no intention of acting the same way, with Joe Biden and his staff. Already, people have noticed the decidedly nicer tone from reports coming from the MSM. Like in the days of Obama, the press is willing to handle Joe Biden with kid gloves.

But apparently, that’s not good enough for old Joe and his White House staff. Biden has a reputation for not handling tough questions well. He quickly loses his temper or is caught off guard, suggesting he doesn’t really know what he’s talking about. It seems his press staff have the same problem. Because, according to some reports, they want their questions in advance.

According to three sources with knowledge of the matter, as well as written communications reviewed by The Daily Beast, the new president’s communications staff have already on occasion probed reporters to see what questions they plan on asking new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when called upon during briefings…

According to multiple sources, leaders at the meeting advised print reporters to push back against requests by the White House press team to learn of questions in advance, or simply to not respond to the Biden team’s inquiries.

“While it’s a relief to see briefings return, particularly with a commitment to factual information, the press can’t really do its job in the briefing room if the White House is picking and choosing the questions they want,” one White House correspondent said. “That’s not really a free press at all.” [Source: Daily Beast]

Lol, wow this is rich! The corrupt liars who spread nothing but hate and fake news for four years are suddenly worried about the “free press,” now that Biden is pushing back.

What does it say about a White House that wants to control the press—even though this press is already on their side? It’s not a high mark of confidence to hear Jen Psaki and her team asking for questions ahead of time. That suggests she would not be prepared otherwise and wants to vet out the tough questions.

Which is exactly the case. Jen Psaki, among Biden’s staff, might be the worst at her job. She frequently cannot answer basic questions about Joe’s work and policies. She fumbles her answers or just refuses to respond. That’s pretty telling, considering just how awful this current cabinet looks.

Even the liberal media is worried about how Biden is behaving. No other president signed 41 orders in just two weeks at the job. When the New York Times has to scold a Democrat, things are pretty bad. No wonder Psaki wants to filter out these press briefings; she doesn’t have any answers for them!
