New Poll Spells Bad News for Pelosi and Her ‘Commission’

Democrats have said all sorts of things about the event that took place on January 6. Very little of it has been the truth.

We all watched as a group of enraged “Trump supporters” rushed into the Capitol Building and made a lot of news. For all of the hysteria coming from the media on that day, what really happened? Some cowardly lawmakers hid under desks and a few idiots ran around the building, accomplishing nothing.

How much property damage did they cause? How many buildings were burned down? How many livelihoods or jobs were lost? How many people were hurt?

We’re not saying it was nothing (and we’d like to know how many Antifa members were involved), but it certainly pales in comparison to what we say nearly daily during the Summer of 2020. Yet Democrats turned a blind eye to riots that caused billions of dollars of damage—and ruined numerous cities. But a few morons run around D.C.—and they form a 9/11 style commission.

Yeah, we’re not buying it. And neither are Americans.

One-third more Americans believe Congress should hold investigative hearings about last summer’s “Black Lives Matter protests that sparked violence” than think lawmakers ought to probe the riot at the capitol on January 6…

On the other hand, fewer than half (49%) of Americans support Pelosi’s investigation of the D.C. riot, in which rioters protesting the 2020 presidential election results stormed the capitol…

“Sixty-seven percent (67%) of whites, 64% of black voters, 66% of Hispanics and 62% of other minorities think Congress should investigate the 2020 riots in U.S. cities,” reported Rasmussen Reports. “Seventy-five percent (75%) of Republicans, 60% of Democrats and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party say Congress should investigate last year’s violent protests.” [Source: Daily Wire]

The numbers speak for themselves. Americans of all races, backgrounds, and political sides overwhelmingly want Congress to probe the origins of the Black Lives Matter riots of last year. Not even half of the country wants them to waste their time on January 6.

But Congress hasn’t even talked about those riots since they happened over a year ago. And when they did—they praised them! In fact, some Democrats (including Kamala Harris) bailed rioters and looters out of jail, so they could continue their crime spree.

We know why this gross, lopsided double standard is going on. Democrats supported the BLM riots because they aligned with their political agenda. They used those riots, which cost lives and billions of dollars, to push their anti-cop, anti-conservative, anti-Trump views. Attacking those violent protests would not help their toxic narrative.

But the January 6 event—which was weak in comparison—is being exploited by the left to continue their pathetic war against Donald Trump—a man not even in office.

What do they think they will be able to achieve with this commission? Nothing, of course. They failed to convict Trump over it back in January. There is zero evidence Trump or any of his people were involved in that riot. It was not some kind of “right wing” conspiracy, as Pelosi and her cronies seem to suggest.

Meanwhile, real criminals and real insurrections walk free. Where is the justice?
