Jan 6 Defendant Acquitted–You Won’t Believe His Story

Democrats have been hyping up the January 6 riot as an “insurrection.” Ignoring the many violent riots of Summer 2020, they push the narrative that Trump supporters were trying to overthrow the government. They’ve arrested over 700 Americans—hitting them with some of the most outrageous charges imaginable. In one instance, they imprisoned a sick man, denying his Cancer treatments. A judge let him go, simply out of human decency.

But the left is determined to string up these people like scapegoats, all to silence criticism of the 2020 Election—and box Trump out of future elections. One man arrested was having charges as steep as “violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.”

When he told his story to the court, backed by video evidence, the judge had no choice but to let him go.

A federal contractor was acquitted by a judge on April 6 of four charges in relation to entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

Prosecutors failed to prove that Matthew Martin, who worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, committed crimes when entering the Capitol for about 10 minutes, U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden ruled…

“While I was at the top, they started letting people into the building. And I—so I joined the—they were holding the doors open, the guards were. And I walked in and saw the rotunda,” Martin told an FBI agent during an interview…

Video shows two police officers standing near the Rotunda doors and allowing people to enter as Martin approached, McFadden said…

McFadden also said there was no evidence that Martin intended to disrupt Congress from certifying President Joe Biden’s electoral victory and described the defendant as a “silent observer of the actions of others.” [Source: The Epoch Times]

Much like in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, far-left prosecutors ignored evidence and push ludicrous charges against Matthew Martin. According to his account, he attended the Trump rally earlier in the day. Later on, he went to the Capitol Building to see what was going on. He found police officers holding open the doors, directing people inside. He took video of the Rotunda and left after ten minutes.

For that, prosecutors charged him with “entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.”

Complete bulls**t. What’s especially alarming is Martin’s testimony. It confirms other reports that police were directing people into the building, even guiding them into the main chambers. Was this riot really an “insurrection” staged by angry Trump supporters? Or was it a staged riot, orchestrated by Democrats, to tarnish the president and his people?

The fact that prosecutors are leaning so hard on innocent Americans is alarming. Expect more surprising rulings in the coming months.
