Harris Border Failures Get Worse–New Record Hammers America

Kamala Harris was handpicked by President Biden to tackle the growing illegal immigration crisis at the southern border. But the years dragged on and her efforts have been anything but effective. Despite her lofty promises and high-profile visits, the border remains a sieve.

Harris has made plenty of speeches and photo ops, but the reality is clear: the situation has only worsened since she was given the responsibility.

The numbers speak for themselves. Since Harris was tasked with addressing the border crisis, illegal crossings have skyrocketed. Instead of rolling up her sleeves and implementing solutions, Harris has done little more than pay lip service to the problem. Now, Congress has released a report that has doomed Harris’ vice presidency.

A factsheet report released by the House Committee on Homeland Security Republicans this week highlighted the more than 170,000 nationwide migrant encounters in July. According to the committee factsheet released on Wednesday, the total of nationwide encounters under the Biden-Harris administration climbed to 10.1 million. That total did not include the roughly two million known got-aways recorded by CBP since the start of fiscal year 2021. [Source: Breitbart]

The numbers are in, and they’re staggering. According to a factsheet report from the House Committee on Homeland Security Republicans, the Biden-Harris administration has overseen well over 10 million migrant encounters since they took the reins. And if you think that’s all, think again—those numbers don’t even account for the nearly two million “got-aways” who slipped through the cracks. That’s a lot of new neighbors in the Land of the Free, all thanks to a border policy that seems more like an open-door policy.

But wait, there’s more! The Committee Republicans didn’t hold back, calling out what they describe as a “massive parole shell game” being played by the current administration. What’s that, you ask? It’s a little trick where migrants are granted entry into the United States through humanitarian parole, bypassing the messy optics of overcrowded Border Patrol facilities. It’s a neat little sleight of hand that lets the administration wave its wand and—voila!—hundreds of thousands of inadmissible aliens are suddenly released into the interior of the country. The numbers might look prettier, but the reality remains the same: America’s border is, for all intents and purposes, wide open.

Let’s break down the numbers, shall we? Since January 2023 alone, more than 1.2 million migrants have strolled through ports of entry, thanks to the CBP One application and the Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan (CHVN) humanitarian parole program. And if you’re wondering how rigorous the screening process is, here’s a shocker: applicants don’t even have to pass a credible fear interview before an asylum officer. That’s right—no pesky hurdles to jump through, just a straight shot into the United States. Who needs rules when you’ve got an app, right?

But even that’s not the half of it. The CHVN program, responsible for letting in half a million migrants, had to be paused after DHS uncovered some eyebrow-raising fraud. Imagine applying from an address that doesn’t exist or even from beyond the grave. No, this isn’t a Halloween special; it’s the reality of a sponsorship process gone off the rails. Meanwhile, the CBP One program is still chugging along, bringing in migrants by the hundreds of thousands.

And if that wasn’t enough to raise the alarm, consider this: more than 1,000 known members of Venezuela’s notorious Tren De Aragua gang are now suspected to be in the United States. It’s a chilling thought that so many criminals could be roaming freely, posing a threat not just to the public but also to law enforcement.
