GOP Responds To Biden’s Domestic Terrorism Conspiracy

Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (CO) is now demanding President Biden’s Dept. of Justice give the data behind its new claim about “an increase” in “violent threats” against school officials, a charge that the DOJ is using to justify bringing in the FBI.

Boebert, who is a member of the House Freedom Caucus and critic of the Biden White House, said in a letter to the U.S. A.G. Merrick Garland that she needs a copy of the data and “all data from past years that can corroborate” his claim of increased threats.

“I am shocked by your decision to weaponize our DOJ against parents, using their First Amendment rights, who dare to go against the teaching of critical race theory, an anti-white and repulsive ideology, in their children’s schools,” Boebert said, adding her demands for data.

Garland announced inside a memo this week that he was ordering the FBI to meet with officials because “in past months, there was a disturbing increase in intimidation, harassment, and threats of violence against school leaders, teachers, board members and staff who work in the vital running of our country’s public schools.”

The AG said such behavior is illegal, to which Congresswoman Boebert contended that the criminal activity Garland is mentioning is really only parents “showing their frustrations concerning mask mandates and anti-white critical race theory which go against this regime’s agenda.”

The congresswoman also demanded a copy of Garland’s ethics pledge, recusal list, and other documents the A.G. gave when he took office to reveal conflicts of interest he might encounter while in power.

That part of Boebert’s request comes after a news report this week that claimed Garland’s son-in-law, Xan Tanner, is the founder of Panorama Education, a business that “teaches the foundations of Critical Race Theory.”

Boebert said the family connection means that Garland “is possibly benefiting” from his “new propaganda work.”

She said, “While your family is now benefiting from the exact propaganda these parents are now protesting against, you are using your overall power as A.G. to stop their First Amendment rights. While your actions are not constitutional, you should recuse yourself given your clear conflict of interest.”

The Colorado GOP member said in a comment, “The U.S. Attorney General is now making a weapon out of the DOJ to attack parents who don’t agree with Critical Race Theory. This is wrong and corrupt. I am demanding answers now.”
