DeSantis Goes Head To Head With This “Magic” Company

On Thursday, Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis heavily criticized Bob Chapek, the “woke” CEO of Disney, for loudly criticizing recent Florida legislation that the ultra-left claims is a violation of LGBTQ rights.

DeSantis, however, remains nonplussed by Chapek’s remarks, strongly insisting on the importance of parental involvement and concerns regarding education.

“When you have companies [such as Disney] that have made a fortune off being family-friendly, [as well as] catering to families and young kids, they should understand that parents … do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom,” DeSantis remarked to Fox News.

DeSantis continued on to note that various corporations have demonstrated remarkable gall in criticizing parental rights, going as far as to declare that “transgenderism in kindergarten [and] in first-grade classrooms” is appropriate.

“You have companies, like at Disney, that are going to say and criticize parents’ rights, they’re going to criticize the fact that we don’t want transgenderism in kindergarten in first-grade classrooms,” the governor continued.

DeSantis also called out Disney’s allegiance to China, which is rather odd if the company is willing to “die on” the LGBTQ “hill” in the United States.

“[How does Disney] possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China?” DeSantis exclaimed in disbelief.

“Because that’s what they do,” DeSantis continued, “and [Disney makes] a fortune.”

Upon making a fortune in a communist nation, the enormous company declines to “say a word about the really brutal practices … at the hands of the [Chinese Communist Party].”

The Florida governor affirmed that Florida legislation will be based upon the best interests of residents of Florida, rather than “the musing of woke corporations.”

Disney became angered over the Parental Rights in Education bill, which explicitly bans school employees and other third parties from focusing on “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” at the lowest grade levels, or from kindergarten to third grade.
