The White House is scrambling to spin its historic failure in Afghanistan as a victory. Yes, most Americans wanted out troops out of the country. But Biden’s reckless decisions, lack of basic common sense, and total disregard for human life turned the move into a nightmare.
After pulling our troops, the Taliban immediately took over (Biden said that was “highly unlikely” to happen). That left thousands of Americans and Afghan allies in danger. Biden, to avoid more bad press, threw together a chaotic evacuation. Even that was a failure.
Right now, the embattled administration is claiming victory. But it’s clear Biden left many behind. And their stories are emerging.
An Afghan interpreter, who reportedly helped rescue then-Sen. Joe Biden and two other senators in 2008 when their helicopter abruptly landed in a snowstorm, is now calling for the president’s help after being left behind in Afghanistan…
“Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family,” Mohammed told the outlet. “Don’t forget me here.”
“I can’t leave my house,” he later asserted. “I’m very scared.” [Source: Breitbart]
How can Biden abandon a man who literally saved his life? Mohammed was one of a few staff who jumped into a Humvee to rescue Biden and other senators, after their chopper landed in a snowstorm.
I guess that’s gratitude for you.
In addition to that, a congressman has gone missing while trying to help people stranded in Afghanistan.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) has reportedly gone missing after attempting a rogue evacuation mission to rescue five American citizens that President Joe Biden’s administration left behind in Afghanistan. [Source: Breitbart]
Mullin entered Afghanistan to rescue an American woman and her four children. For some strange reason, Biden neglected to evacuate this family.
The pathetic administration has been forced to answer growing questions from lawmakers.
Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) demands to know President Joe Biden and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s “action plan” for the Americans stranded in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan to tell her constituents…
The congresswoman said that her office has been in contact with an American left in the country by the Biden administration. She added that the person she was in contact with was not assisted by the offices set up by Biden’s administration before the withdrawal was complete. [Source: Breitbart]
It seems reports of stranded Americans have reached numerous lawmakers back home. These politicians are essentially powerless (unless they, like Mullin, go to Afghanistan themselves), because Biden has pulled all resources for evacuating citizens. The military claimed the State Department would work to rescue Americans. That appears to have been a lie.
Now calls to impeach this failed administration are only growing.
Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) delivered a blistering speech Tuesday in which she called for the impeachment of President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken over the disastrous U.S. exit from Afghanistan…
“Impeach Biden, impeach Kamala Harris, and throw in the secretary of state if you can get him back from vacation,” she added in reference to the Washington Post timeline that revealed Blinken was away at the Hamptons the Friday before Afghanistan’s government collapsed. [Source: Breitbart]
Despite what the media and White House say, there are many Americans still left behind in Afghanistan. Because there is no longer an embassy, there is no way these people can receive help from the United States. They can’t cross the border into neighboring countries (in a desperate attempt to reach other embassies), because the Taliban control everything.
This is more than a black mark on Biden’s administration, this is an insult to Americans who counted on their country to help them.
We can’t say if impeachment will happen, but this loser needs to be held accountable.
