Ever since Joe Biden entered office, millions of Americans have been waiting for the chance to vote him out. That might not come soon enough, but they’ll get a shot at sending him a message next year. Until 2024, though, many have been speculating on who could run to take the White House back from the crooked Democrats.
Over the year, Donald Trump has spoken about the upcoming elections. He has promised to help the GOP retake Congress in 2022. But, as for his plans for 2024, the 45th president has remained tip-lipped. He’s given hints and subtle nods. Some of his allies have given us clues. Now a well-known conservative figure is make things very clear.
Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly declared Monday on NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live” that former President Donald Trump would run again for president in 2024.
Discussing a phone call with Trump after their weekend shows where the duo revealed they got their COVID booster shot, O’Reilly said, “I told that to him today. He called me. I said, this is good for you. This is good that people see another side of you, not a political side. You told the truth. You believe in the vax. Your administration did it, and you should take credit for it because it did save, I don’t know, 100,000 of lives. It did.” […]
O’Reilly added, “I’m trying to tell President Trump, run on your record. He’s going to run again, all right. I said, ‘Run on your record because your record is pretty darn good.’ I wanted on the show. If I didn’t think that he had accomplishments. and that’s what we try to get out.” [Source: Breitbart]
The discussion of Trump’s 2024 plans came from a seemingly unlikely conversation. O’Reilly revealed that he and the 45th president received booster vaccines for COVID-19. That might have been shocking news for some conservatives, especially those who view the vaccine as a Democrat priority.
The conservation steered to the fact that it was Trump who moved heaven and earth to provide three life-saving vaccines in record time. O’Reilly apparently was adamant with Trump that he needs to focus on his “record” and “accomplishments” if he were to run again. It seems O’Reilly was giving Trump advice, urging him to emphasis the good work he did, rather than perhaps his trademark persona.
Then O’Reilly dropped the bomb that Trump is “going to run again.” Now, the famed news man did not say Trump told him he would run again. Both men have been working together recently during their history show tour. It’s possible Trump did say that.
But perhaps O’Reilly is just picking up on what he’s seen. He could be simply giving his opinion. This, however, is the first clear indication from someone outside of Trump’s team that 45 will return to the campaign trail.
O’Reilly urged Trump to run on his record. That certainly would be a winning strategy, since Biden has no wins to speak of. Trump would destroy any Democrat running against him, since he did more in 4 years than most politicians do in a lifetime.
The only thing we need now, is a formal announcement.
