A Colombian illegal immigrant who raped and impregnated a 12-year-old girl in Missouri was previously caught at the border and released into the country under the Biden administration's open-borders policies. Brayanne Escobar-Guarnizo entered the United States illegally in 2023, was encountered by authorities, and was let go — because that's how things worked under the last regime.
He was in custody. They had him. And they turned him loose.
According to a Daily Wire exclusive, Escobar-Guarnizo was arrested in 2024 in Greene County, Missouri, after a 12-year-old girl was found to be pregnant. DNA testing confirmed paternity with a probability of 99.999%. When questioned by a detective, Escobar-Guarnizo claimed "we only had sex one time" — as if once with a 12-year-old is somehow a mitigating factor. The victim ultimately terminated the pregnancy.
The charges tell you everything you need to know about this monster: first-degree statutory rape, sexual exploitation of a minor, and production of child pornography. He has now been sentenced to 25 years in federal prison, followed by an additional 10 years of supervised release.
Twenty-five years. That little girl got a life sentence.
Lauren Bis, Acting Assistant Homeland Security Secretary, didn't mince words. "This dirtbag was charged with production of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a minor after he raped and impregnated a 12-year-old girl," Bis said. "Thanks to the investigative work of ICE law enforcement officers and our state and local partners, this child predator has now been sentenced to 25 years behind bars."
Bis went further, pointing directly at the previous administration: "This illegal alien NEVER should have been allowed into our country by the Biden Administration. Under Secretary Mullin, we will continue to target criminal illegal aliens and get them OUT of our communities."
That's the part that should make your blood boil. This wasn't a case of someone slipping through undetected. Border authorities had Escobar-Guarnizo in their hands in 2023 and released him into the interior of the country. The Biden administration's catch-and-release machine processed him like a number, stamped his paperwork, and sent him on his merry way to Springfield, Missouri.
And a 12-year-old girl's life was destroyed because of it.
We were told for four years that these policies were "humane." We were told the border was "secure." We were told that anyone who raised concerns about who was being released into American communities was a xenophobe or a conspiracy theorist.
Well, here's your humane policy. A child rapist from Colombia walking the streets of Greene County because someone in the Biden DHS decided he wasn't worth detaining.
Every single person who designed, defended, and implemented catch-and-release owns a piece of this. Every bureaucrat who signed off on his release. Every politician who called the border "secure" while predators poured through. Every cable news anchor who called us racists for wanting the border enforced.
You don't get to wash your hands of this one.
ICE and DHS are cleaning up the mess now under Secretary Mullin, hunting down the criminal aliens that Biden's team scattered across the country like confetti. But for one little girl in Springfield, Missouri, the cleanup came years too late.
Remember this story the next time some Democrat tells you border enforcement is "cruel." The cruelty was letting him go.
