Biden In Hot Water After Top Generals Reveal Truth About Afghanistan

This week, Biden’s top military officials are testifying before Congress about the fall of Afghanistan. This is the first time lawmakers will be able to get to the truth about Biden’s disastrous decision to pull U.S. forces out of the country. And boy, are these guys not holding back.

It appears that the people who fight to defend us are not at all pleased with what’s happened. After fighting for 20 years to liberate and secure Afghanistan, they had to watch as our enemy took over in less than two weeks. And the generals being grilled by pudgy lawmakers refused to take the fall for Biden’s terrible decisions.

In fact, Gen. McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, revealed that he told Biden directly to leave 2,500 troops in Afghanistan. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of State, Gen. Milley, also confirmed this to be true. McKenzie even swore that Biden knew and understood their recommendation. Now, people are blasting Biden for his wildly, untruthful claims.

President Joe Biden faced backlash on Tuesday after top U.S. military leaders, testifying in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee, directly contradicted what Biden told the American public during an interview over the summer amidst the U.S.’s withdrawal from Afghanistan…

Biden faced widespread criticism, comparing his prior remarks, made during an interview back in August with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, with statements the generals gave today — statements which appeared to directly contradict what Biden said. [Source: Daily Wire]

Way back in August, Biden was asked by George Stephanopoulos if anyone told him to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan. Biden immediately said “No. No one said that to me that I can recall.” Gen. McKenzie stated yesterday that he told Biden that directly and the man appeared to understand and process what he was saying.

So, is Biden so out of his mind that he doesn’t remember anyone telling him to keep 2,500 troops in the country? Even Stephanopoulos knew about this number. How could Biden claim that “no one” said that to him? Is McKenzie and Milley lying under oath about what they said? Or is Biden twisting the truth, once again, to defend his terrible decisions?

This is a more serious situation than you might realize. Because of Biden’s rash, hasty move, a country fell to a terrorist network. Many people have already died. Biden put civilians, our service members, and people from other ally nations in danger. The world watched as the United States fell on its face. And to cover his titanic failure, Biden lied about it on TV.

How can the American people trust anything Biden says, when he so frequently lies? This isn’t a simple misinterpretation. These generals clearly told Biden want he should do and he contradicted them. Shouldn’t there be some kind of consequence for this? Shouldn’t Biden be held accountable for what he said and did?

I guess that won’t happen, until Republicans are in charge of Congress again?
