Biden Gives Refugees a Free Ride Into America – But What About American Citizens?

The situation in Afghanistan is only going from bad to worse, for Joe Biden. Reports are flooding in that he ignored a report in July that a hasty withdrawal would lead to chaos. Experts and lawmakers from both sides of the aisle are slamming Biden for his poorly executed plan (if it can be called a plan).

He pulled our troops, but left behind countless cars, weapons, and military equipment. Worse than that, he left stranded thousands of American civilians and Afghan allies.

Photos and reports have emerged that Biden has been able to fly out several hundred Afghan refugees so far. The administration is scrambling to send military to aid in the evacuations. But what about American citizens left behind? The White House had already said they couldn’t protect them.

Now, they are charging these people $2,000 for a flight out.

A report published on Thursday alleged that the Biden administration was charging U.S. citizens for evacuation flights out of Afghanistan, and even more for non-citizens…

“U.S. law requires that evacuation assistance to private U.S. citizens or third country nationals be provided ‘on a reimbursable basis to the maximum extent practicable,’” the spokesperson said. “The situation is extremely fluid, and we are working to overcome obstacles as they arise.” [Source: Daily Wire]

It’s pretty sickening if you think about it. Joe Biden created the situation where these people had to flee for their lives. Now this jackass is trying to charge them $2,000 just to get home alive. Many of these Americans were in Afghanistan on humanitarian missions. They were serving people in need. Something tells me they don’t have an extra $2,000 to spare (much less the Afghans fleeing).

A State Department spokesperson claimed that the administration was no “seeking any reimbursement.” Yet shortly after, Americans were still being told they had to pay.

The Biden administration continued to inform American citizens in Afghanistan as of Thursday evening they could have to pay more than $2,000 to board an evacuation flight out of the country, despite the State Department telling the press hours before that it had no intention of levying any such charges…

“All passengers will need to reimburse the U.S. Government for the flight. A promissory note for the full cost of the flight, which may exceed $2000 per person, must be signed by each adult passenger before boarding,” the form stated. [Source: Daily Caller]

What a load of garbage. Joe Biden screwed over this entire nation and then is charging refugees and Americans money to get them out. What next? He’s going to demand their firstborn?

Has Joe Biden done anything over the last eight months that proves he’s capable of leading this country? Every decision he’s made has been a disaster. But the fall of Afghanistan and the evacuation “effort” has put the Biden administration’s incompetence full display.

Charging Americans for flights home, after creating this chaos, is perhaps the lowest thing we’ve seen. It would have been free under other administrations, but Biden shut down the agency that provided resources and aid for just this sort of situation.

It really is a grand slam of bad decision-making. And more reason for this man to be impeached.
