Since making herself the Democrats’ presidential nominee, Harris has stuck to written speeches. The woman has been careful to only say what her handlers tell her to say. She’s not much different than Biden in that regard. Both of them are train wrecks waiting to happen!
But her campaign staff can’t control everything. And the American people want to know if she has a brain in that head of hers.
She had a chance to give a few inspiring remarks to the press after Russia returned American prisoners. All the world was waiting for this wannabe president to say something important. But without script in her hand, Harris is as incomprehensible as the old man next to her.

Imagine stepping onto a stage, the spotlight glaring, and all eyes focused on you, waiting for words of wisdom. This is a regular scenario for politicians, but for candidate Kamala Harris, it’s turning into a bit of a nightmare. Her recent remarks about the returned prisoners showcased what some see as her glaring inability to communicate effectively.
Harris, often critiqued for her reliance on prepared speeches, stumbled significantly in her first unscripted appearance after taking over Biden’s nomination. She seemed to be trying to say something encouraging about Biden… or his administration. But it was hard to suss out. How many times can someone way “understand” in a sentence? It’s painfully clear that Harris doesn’t understand what she is talking about!
We all know that politicians rely on professional writers to make them sound polished and smart. But, in the past, we could at least expect our leaders to have enough wits to say one sentence that makes sense. For some odd reason, but the president and vice president of this administration can’t function without cue cards or cheat sheets.
At least Biden has a legitimate excuse: he has been secretly suffering from cognitive decline for at least four years. But what is Harris’ excuse? From all appearances, the woman is healthy. Her inability to make sense seems to prove she is just a face in a pantsuit, another career politician who is just doing what the DNC is telling her to do.
This isn’t the first time Harris has faced criticism for her public speaking. Throughout her tenure as Vice President, she’s often been accused of being vague and evasive. Her tendency to laugh nervously when posed with difficult questions has not helped her image, leading some to label her as unprepared and insincere.
How will this affect her standing with the election coming up? The country is reeling from the bad decisions of the administration she is a part of. Should people trust that this woman can combat inflation, the open border, and global war? Or will she continue Biden’s legacy of gaslighting Americans, telling us we’re not seeing what we are seeing? I wonder if she will even be able to debate Trump, without staffers giving her answers through an earpiece.
